HYGGE – Floating Sauna in Hommersåk
Welcome to HYGGE, a floating sauna in the heart of Hommersåk, offering beautiful views across Riskafjorden and the evening sun.
The sauna accommodates up to 10 guests and is available for both drop-in sessions and private bookings. HYGGE is electrically heated and always warm and ready when you arrive, so you can start enjoying your sauna experience from the very first minute.
Large windows open up the view towards the fjord, whether you visit on a bright summer day or a dark winter evening. The sauna and floating dock are beautifully illuminated throughout the year, including underwater lighting that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere after sunset.
Between sauna sessions, cool down with a refreshing dip in the fjord. There is also a freshwater shower on the floating dock, perfect for cooling off before heading back into the heat.
Inside, you first enter a separate changing room, before continuing into the sauna itself. The interior features warm, natural materials, with comfortable heat-treated wooden flooring and benches made from heat-treated aspen.
Access is simple and fully automated. The door unlocks 10 minutes before your booking begins and locks again 10 minutes after your session ends, giving you plenty of time to change before and after your sauna.
