Sagafjord Hotell is located in Sæbø at the head of Hjørundfjorden in Sunnmøre. The hotel operates several wood-fired saunas on the hotel’s wharf, including the floating ROA sauna — a hand-built timber sauna on the fjord, surrounded by the Sunnmøre Alps. ROA seats 4–8 people per session. A changing room with shelves and mirrors, a fresh-water tap, and a bucket are available.
ROA Sauna
ROA is built of wood, heated by fire, and placed directly on the fjord. The facility offers a combination of sauna heat and cold plunges into Hjørundfjorden.
Wharf Saunas
In addition, the hotel has two wood-fired saunas on the wharf at Sagafjord Hotell itself, known as Sæbø Fjordsauna.
